About the role

Mick Murray Welding (N.T.)' is seeking experienced Welders, Metal Fabricators, Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters for full-time positions in Townsville, Queensland. You will be part of our thriving manufacturing team, contributing to the strategic growth of the company through your skilled technical work.

What you'll be doing

Performing a variety of welding, fabrication, boilermaking and mechanical fitting tasks to a high standard

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams and specifications

Operating specialised machinery and equipment with precision and care

Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Collaborating with team members to optimise workflows and processes

Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation

What we're looking for

Several years' hands-on experience as a Welder, Metal Fabricator, Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter

Strong technical skills and expertise in your trade

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and specifications

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques

Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail

Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands

A team-oriented mindset and positive, collaborative attitude

Undertake Pre-Employment Medical

Have a valid Drivers Licence
