About the role

Smart Tax Partners is seeking an experienced professional services admin manager to join our team. This is a part-time role (approx. 15 flexible hours per week), providing an opportunity to either work in our office (preferred) and remotely while supporting the business services we offer our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Management of BGL CAS360 corporate register system including communication with clients

Client engagement letters, preparation, review and updating in registers

Weekly review of chargeable percentage, jobs requiring billing, debtors collections and preparation of resulting reports and correspondence

Weekly download and review of ATO and ASIC correspondence and setup for communication with clients

Weekly scanning and electronic filing of documents

Ad hoc review of current and future client business structures and relating documentation

Interaction including discussions and correspondence with the client base

Assisting in preparation of staff performance reviews

Assisting in marketing the firm's services including web site, brochures, stationery

Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a public accounting firm.

Accounting firm administrative experience is essential for this position.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders

Familiarity with HandiSoft document management systems & BGL corporate register preferred

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices
