About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Production Leading Hand to join our team at our Seventeen Mile Rocks facility. This is a physically demanding role that plays a key part in daily production operations and leads a small team of factory staff.

Importantly, this role is designed as a steppingstone to Production Manager, with a clear progression plan over 12–24 months for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and work alongside a team of production staff

· Coordinate and meet daily production and inventory targets

· Operate on all production lines, supporting team as needed

· Oversee quality control processes and drive continuous improvement

· Ensure adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards

· Maintain and clean machinery and factory equipment

· Operate forklifts to move materials and load machines

· Wrap, pack, and prepare pallets for dispatch

· Use power tools for maintenance and production prep

Skills & Experience

· Prior experience as a leading hand or senior line worker in manufacturing

· Precast concrete or concreting experience (essential)

· Forklift licence (essential)

· Mechanically minded with machine maintenance experience

· Confident using email and basic production software

· Strong leadership, communication, and team management

· Physically fit and hands-on

· Driver’s licence

· Available Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
