The Lorian Group have partnered with a commercial contractor who has over 20 years in the industry, this contractor delivers high-quality projects in the education and government sectors, handling fitouts, refurbishments, and builds up to $5M. Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are looking for a skilled Leading Hand / Foreman to join their Brisbane team.

Your New Role
This is a mixed hands-on position with leadership responsibilities, depending on project size and your experience. You'll be working across a variety of commercial projects, ensuring quality workmanship while assisting with site coordination. The immediate project will be a sub $5m education build in the Brisbane area.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality carpentry work on commercial projects.
• Assist with site coordination, trades, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
• Work closely with the site team to deliver successful outcomes.
• Contribute both on the tools and in a leadership capacity as needed.

What You Will Need to Succeed

• Trade qualification in Carpentry.
• Experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to lead small teams or work independently.
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards.
• QBCC License will be highly regarded
• White Card and relevant industry tickets.
