About Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds

Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (HHTS) is a not for profit on a mission to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the people who keep Australia moving. Our Road Show program is the Foundation's flagship outreach, connecting directly with drivers, warehouse staff and industry partners nationwide. We are a small, dynamic team that values professionalism, teamwork, respect, and purpose, pitching in together to make an impact while having some fun along the way.

About the Role

We are seeking an Industry Engagement Manager to take charge of the design, delivery and growth of the vital National Road Show program. This full-time, senior role combines program leadership, coordination, stakeholder engagement and hands-on delivery. You will also oversee a Road Show Coordinator and build a volunteer model to scale national delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver the national Road Show calendar, locking events in well in advance and ensuring quality delivery.

Oversee scheduling and safe operation of the Road Show fleet, including heavy vehicle compliance for two trucks.

Build and manage a volunteer and casual workforce events model, including design and initiation, induction, and training.

Manage budgets, track outcomes and continuously improve systems and processes to ensure smooth and compliant program delivery.

Represent HHTS at events, sharing mental health and wellbeing messages and resources with frontline workers.

Lead Road Show communications, marketing and reporting in collaboration with internal colleagues.

About You

You’re an experienced program or event leader with the maturity to balance program delivery, coordination, and stakeholder relationships. Your enthusiasm, empathy and collaborative energy help you connect with people at all levels.

5 to 10 years experience in end to end program or event management, ideally in not for profit or transport and logistics sectors.

Strong program delivery, project management and budgeting skills, with attention to detail and compliance.

High quality stakeholder management and influencing skills across diverse partners and funders.

Hands on, collaborative and down to earth, willing to roll your sleeves up and comfortable with the practical side of events, including standing for periods and light manual handling.

High EQ, integrity and a genuine passion for improving mental health in transport and logistics.

Understanding of work health and safety or compliance systems is highly valued.

Some training in workplace mental health would be an advantage.
