A new exciting opportunity has been created to join this growing project driven business for a Financial Accountant with ambitions to develop into a finance leader. You will work with a strong and experienced senior leadership group that will develop your financial acumen and commercial reporting skills. Working on engineering projects this organisation has been expanding its work book and consulting services working with experts in the field.

Reporting into the CFO you will take a lead role in delivering the month end accounting and oversee the wider functions.

Prepare financial statements

Process journals across the GL

Bank, P&L and GL reconciliations

Ensure compliance is maintained and complete BAS statements

Support cost and project reporting

Drive process improvements

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion with proven experience preparing month end reporting. An ability to engage with operational leaders and communicate financial results and performance will be a critical part of this role.
