We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The role requires someone with strong operational expertise, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to streamline processes to maintain cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Freight & Carrier Selection: Determine the best carriers and services (e.g., FPP) based on cost, efficiency, and customer needs.

Labels: Handline

Invoicing: 3PL Clients

Packout/Kitting Management: Oversee packaging operations to ensure goods are packed efficiently, reducing costs and ensuring secure delivery.

Cost Control: Identify and mitigate additional or hidden costs such as freight surcharges and optimise packaging strategies to minimise expenses.

Customer Service & Operations: Provide exceptional customer service while being operationally focused, ensuring smooth order processing and cost-effectiveness.

Redirections & LOAs: Action redirection requests, Letters of Authority (LOAs), and coordinate with freight service providers for tracking and tracing.

Escalation Management: Handle customer escalations professionally, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

High-Volume Quoting: Accurately manage high volumes of quotes, ensuring cost competitiveness while maintaining profitability.

Technical Expertise: Utilize technical skills, including proficient use of Rothfield Connect (Servoy), to manage daily operations and resolve technical issues.

Adaptability & Reactivity: Quickly adapt to changing circumstances and customer demands, ensuring operational continuity.

Inwards Goods & Handline Control: Manage inwards goods and ensure accurate handling and control of the handline board.

3PL Reporting: Provide regular reporting on operational performance and cost metrics.

Docket Management: Ensure timely release of dockets for dispatch and deliveries.

Skills & Experience Required:

Demonstrated experience in logistics, operations, or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of pack out/kitting processes and cost-effective packaging.

Ability to navigate freight surcharges and other hidden costs.

Experience in handling carrier selection, quoting, and cost control.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Technical proficiency, with good working knowledge Microsoft (Excel) and Rothfield Connect (Servoy).

High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strong problem-solving skills, especially in customer escalation and operational challenges.

Adaptability and ability to react quickly to changes in business needs.

Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain, or operations management (preferred).

Experience in a commercial operations or similar role.
