Position Overview

The Sales / Front of House role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales enquiries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the Echuca branch. This position acts as the first point of contact for builders, tradespeople, and local customers, representing Mr Coolroom’s commitment to quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

Welcome and assist all customers in-store, by phone, and online.

Provide product knowledge and technical advice on coolroom panels, extrusions, and related products.

Prepare and follow up on quotes, orders, and invoices.

Process sales transactions efficiently.

Operations & Administration

Maintain a professional and well-presented front counter and showroom.

Assist with stock control, ordering, and liaising with suppliers.

Coordinate freight and basic logistics when required.

Keep accurate records in business systems (Xero, inventory software, etc.).

Team Support

Work closely with management and warehouse staff to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.

Assist with promotions, local marketing, and trade events when needed.

Uphold company values and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Skills & Attributes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or trade counter role.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

High level of organisation and attention to detail.

Competent computer skills (quoting, invoicing, email).

Trade, building, or construction industry knowledge highly regarded but not essential.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 2 years in sales or customer service (preferred).

Forklift licence (advantage but not required).

Basic understanding of building materials or willingness to learn.
