About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the front-of-house team as an Assistant Manager at our bustling seafood restaurant in Fitzroy North, VIC. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in overseeing the smooth and efficient running of our restaurant operations, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all our customers.

What you'll be doing

Lead, coach and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service

Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing all aspects of daily restaurant operations

Monitor and optimise table turnover, reservations, and customer flow

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

Provide exceptional customer service and handle any customer queries or complaints

Assist with roster planning, staff training and performance management

Monitor and control restaurant costs, inventory and stock levels

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar front-of-house management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in using POS systems and other hospitality management software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience
