About the role

Yunggudja' PTY LTD Mentoring/CP Services is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated NDIS Support Worker to join our team in Adelaide, SA. As a casual Support Worker/Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and individualised care to our clients with disabilities, empowering them to live their best lives. What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming

Providing support with household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping

Facilitating social and recreational activities to enhance clients' community participation and independence

Advocating for clients' needs and preferences, and collaborating with their support networks

Maintaining detailed client records and reporting any changes or concerns

Upholding the organisation's policies, procedures, and quality standards

What we're looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Disability Services (or equivalent)

The Certificate III or IV qualification can be obtained within 3 months of starting

Experience providing support to individuals with a range of disabilities and complex needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport

Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives

A current driver's licence and reliable mode of transportation

A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain in first 3 months of employment

First Aid certification

A valid WWCC (working with children check)

A valid police clearance
