MAC Inc. is seeking is seeking a proactive, creative thinker to join our team as the EDUCATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR.

Mundaring Arts Centre Inc. (MAC Inc.) is an independently run, not-for profit arts organisation that nurtures arts-makers and enriches the community through exciting and accessible cultural experiences across two venues, the Mundaring Arts Centre and Midland Junction Arts Centre, situated in the eastern metropolitan area of Perth, Western Australia.
Are you a creative who loves delivering outstanding arts and cultural educational programs?
The Education Program Coordinator (EPC) will lead the development, delivery and evaluation of MAC Inc's arts and cultural workshops, educational programs and collaborative projects across the Mundaring and Midland Junction Arts Centres, online, in-school and at external events.
What you'll be doing
Develop a diverse education program that caters to a range of interests, ages and abilities
Coordinate and deliver the education program, including contracts and agreements, materials, logistics, enrolment and promotion support
Develop partnerships with artists, schools, tertiary institutions, community groups, arts organisations and funding bodies
Collaborate to deliver innovative, audience led programming to generate revenue, engage new audiences and increase workshop participation
What we're looking for
A highly organised team player with
Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience in visual arts, teaching, arts education or arts management.
Minimum 3 years experience in artistic processes, arts education and coordination with a knowledge of arts of visual arts disciplines, local artists, organisations and networks
Demonstrated administrative experience including ability to manage schedules, event logistics and budgets
Skills and Competencies
Artistic discernment: ability to interrogate artistic practice and coordinate cohesive, accessible programming across multiple artforms.
Commercial acumen: ability to execute decisions and apply knowledge in a practical manner for positive commercial / economic outcomes.
Time Management & Organisation: Superior ability to prioritise tasks and resources to accomplish objectives within given timeframe; deliver projects on time and on budget; execute administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner.
Stakeholder Management: excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated experience in relationship management and networking; committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face.
Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and to get on well with team members.
Administration: Proficient administrative and computer skills, including MS Office; experience using electronic booking systems, CRM’s, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign desired

Selection Criteria
1. Extensive experience in arts coordination, education or similar role.
2. Demonstrated success in the development and delivery of visual arts programs
3. Excellent written communication skills with proven ability to create engaging content
4. High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate a wide range of stakeholders
5. High level of computer literacy including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
6. Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

MAC Inc. is open 6 days a week and this role requires flexible weekend and after hour availability.
Applicants must hold the certificates, licences and clearances as indicated on the Position Profile or be willing to obtain them before appointment. This includes a current National Police Check and Working With Children Check. A current WA Drivers licence and the ability to travel independently is required for movement between the two venues as required.
