Description

• Prepare and manage accurate budgets and forecasts for the Science Faculty.
• Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
• Produce regular financial reports, ensuring compliance with organisational guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address financial queries and provide advice.
• Monitor faculty expenditure and highlight variances to the leadership team.
• Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects as required by the department.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
