A growing IT Security Systems Integrator, is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to generate new business opportunities and support growth across their cyber security portfolio.

The role involves engaging prospective customers through outbound calls, qualifying opportunities, and promoting solutions such as Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, SIEM, DLP, Endpoint Security, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively conduct outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and secure appointments.
  • Qualify prospects by understanding customer needs and aligning them with suitable cyber security solutions.
  • Present and promote IT security products and services to prospective customers over the phone and face-to-face meetings.
  • Research target accounts, follow up on leads, and identify new business prospects.
  • Accurately record activities, communications, and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs across call volume, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
  • Develop strategies for market penetration and customer acquisition.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally within IT services, software, or technology.
  • Experience selling cyber security software or solutions into corporate or government sectors is highly regarded.
  • Resilient, enthusiastic, and target-driven, with a strong desire to build a career in cyber security sales.
  • Proven ability to manage objections, influence decision makers, and secure appointments.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • High attention to detail, excellent organisation, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills with a clear and professional phone manner.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Knowledge of IT security solutions is advantageous but not mandatory.

Salary Package: $100K-$110K Base + Super + Comms.
