About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled, competent and motivated person to undertake a casual position as an Administrative Support Officer within our Portland Mental Health Services office.
The position is an integral part of the South West Healthcare (SWH) Mental Health teams and will add to the overall effectiveness of the workplace, by providing administration support to the Community and Inpatient Mental Health Teams and Division.
Please note this is a casual relief position, intended to cover staff absences (both planned and unplanned leave).
What you bring
The successful application will have sound knowledge and experience in a variety of computer skills (Microsoft Office), an ability to work autonomously and prioritise work-loads, and perform daily functions with a substantial level of accountability and responsibility. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise with management and staff as well as a proven ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
Experience in working with medical records and qualifications within Office Administration (minimum of Certificate 3 or equivalent) would be advantageous but not essential.
