Full Stack Developer

• Up to $130k + Super + $1750 PD Allowance

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Software Engineer who is looking to join a collaborative IT team and build new, cutting-edge healthcare features from the ground up. You will enjoy a varied role flexing your software design, full stack development skills, mixing in great problem solving and analysis to shape system features and automate business processes. As a Software Engineer at Axis, you will drive continual improvement with clean, well-written code and sound business logic. Everything you build will have a measurable positive impact for iconic Australian organisations and their employees to prevent & manage injuries within the workplace. In this role you will:

• Develop, implement and deploy high quality web applications
• Variety of development spanning front end, back end and cloud platforms
• Undertake a range of analysis, design, software development and testing activities
• Be a key contributor to new feature development on a large health platform built with C# and Angular using modern design patterns
• Be passionate about user centric design and UX
• Work with experienced UX designers and clinical subject matter experts to guide our strategic roadmap.
• Improve our DevOps processes to ensure we can release smoothly and confidently as required.
• Contribute to our internal libraries, standards and processes.
• Support customer needs and troubleshoot solutions with our team.
• Participate in and contribute to a strong team culture across the Axis team, both locally and interstate.

You will bring the following:

• At least 2 years experience in a product focused Full stack .Net Developer role
• Completed Bachelors’ in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or similar)
• Passionate and proud of writing clean and maintainable code + good design
• Strong front-end skills with any modern SPA framework and design library
• Strong C# / .Net Core / OOP development skills
• Good experience with Automated Integration and Unit-Testing
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern CI/CD
• Curious and excited about learning new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-focused mindset
