We’re now launching WT Legal, a new legal practice that will handle conveyancing for our clients across Australia. With a strong internal referral pipeline already in place, WT Legal is poised to become a high-volume, national leader in property settlements.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced lawyer with an unrestricted practising certificate to become the Principal Solicitor / Legal Practitioner Director of WT Legal.

This is more than a compliance role — you will:

Oversee conveyancing operations nationwide (NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, NT).

Hold responsibility for trust account compliance, PI insurance, and regulatory reporting.

Establish and refine workflows across states to ensure seamless, high-quality client experiences.

Lead and mentor a growing team of conveyancers and support staff.

Work closely with WT Capital, WT Wealth and WT Finance to deliver an integrated client journey.

Drive growth — with 30+ settlements per month from day one and scalable systems in place.

About You

Admitted as a lawyer in Australia with an unrestricted practising certificate.

Eligible to act as Legal Practitioner Director of an ILP.

Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and practice across multiple states.

Experienced in trust account operation, compliance, and audits.

Commercial mindset, comfortable in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

Leadership ability to manage a team and scale operations.

What We Offer

Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 + super, plus bonus.

Equity Pathway: Ownership buy-in opportunity after 12 months (conditional on clean audits and meeting KPIs).

Pipeline: Built-in referrals from WT Group (Capital, Wealth, Finance) ensuring consistent file flow.

Flexibility: Role can be based anywhere in Australia with remote collaboration.
