This commercial, retail and industrial property management and advisory business have been established in Australia for 15+ years. As an integrated group they engage in commercial property management, advisory and buyer’s advocacy for a suite of clients including corporations, not-for-profits and sophisticated investors.

Owing to an internal move, Talent Butler is exclusively placing confidence in the appointment of a Senior Commercial Property Manager. The position will grow into a development role to manage the portfolio of 20+ assets valued at $250M+

The Business

With a portfolio of assets under management including self-storage, warehouse, logistics hubs, shopping centres and commercial offices, they are looking to secure an experienced senior commercial property manager with an analytical mindset to add further value. With that in mind, your ability to work in a changeable environment and shape the future of the systems and processes would be advantageous. The core purpose of this role is to optimise property returns to meet broader, growing tenant expectations. The business aims to attract and retain the best available talent through continued growth and career opportunities, with that in mind your hunger will see you excel.

The Role

Reporting to the MD in North Sydney this opportunity would suit someone who has had at least five years of intermediate to senior-level experience in commercial, retail or industrial property.

It would be highly advantageous if you hold tertiary education such as a Bachelor of Property Economics, though it is not essential. You will enjoy taking ownership of the Asset Management process. Assisted by a property administrator, the position will be both rewarding but also busy. You will be managing lease renewals and disposals, compliance, OH&S, strategy, and property management reporting.

• Good knowledge of the broader real estate industry
  Established networks of contacts in commercial agencies.
• Experience working with private investors or not for profit groups is an advantage.
• You will work with passion, collaborating with the wider business units for broader business outcomes.

• You will review ongoing business activities to think multiple steps ahead and present opportunities that enhance commercial opportunities.

The Opportunity

On offer is a salary package of between $130,000 and $150,000 subject to experience and some flexibility to work from home.
