About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Support Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you will support NDIS participants with day-to-day living, personal care, and community access, as well as assist with general duties to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and daily living support (e.g., meal preparation, personal hygiene, dressing).

Assist participants with community access and social engagement (e.g., attending appointments, shopping, recreational activities).

Implement and follow individualised support plans.

Maintain accurate shift notes, incident reports, and participant documentation.

Support with light domestic tasks (cleaning, tidying, laundry, etc.).

Encourage independence and promote participants’ choice and control.

General support duties to assist the wider business when required.

What We’re Looking For

Genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards of care.

Understanding of NDIS requirements (preferred but not essential).

Essential Requirements

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Working With Children Check (if required by participants).

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

COVID-19 vaccination (as per government requirements).

Desirable

Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or equivalent or be willing to obtain one.

Previous experience working with NDIS participants.
