We’re looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to assist with a male participant who has a spinal cord injury (SCI).

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Carers / Support Workers to join our CareMatch Team and support a client living with a physical disability. The role involves providing support with daily living activities and personal care in a respectful and professional manner. Along with social, community access and engagement.

Key Details

Shift Times: 10:00am through to 10:00am (following day)

Days: Variable roster

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care/s and daily living needs

Catheter management experience preferred

Stoma experience preferred but not required

Provide mobility support and safe wheelchair transfers

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Maintain a supportive and respectful environment

Safe manual handling practices

Follow care plans and training provided

About You

Experience in disability or aged care support (preferred)

A caring and empathetic approach

Reliable and punctual

Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Willingness to learn and undertake training

Experience in mental health and behavioural situations

Willing to learn and follow care plans

Full driving license required.
