Location: South-East QLD (yard in Wacol; Brisbane/Gold Coast sites)
Role type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (OT/Saturdays as needed)

We’re a small, high-trust formwork outfit. We’re chasing a switched-on Formwork Carpenter who can hit the ground running, work independently, and look after the gear and the team.

What you’ll do

Build, strip and maintain formwork for slabs, walls, columns, cores, stairs & decks (timber & steel systems).

Mark-out & set-out from plans, check levels and dimensions, coordinate with site/steel/concrete crews.

Load restraint & lifting awareness when moving/receiving materials; keep yard/site tidy and safe.

Pitch in with general labouring (stacking/strapping, housekeeping) when the pressure’s on.

Complete daily pre-starts/JSA and follow site safety requirements.

What you’ll bring

Qualified Carpenter/Formwork Carpenter with strong commercial/resi experience.

White Card; EWP/Working at Heights a plus.

Reads plans confidently; sets out accurately with laser/level, follow directions of supervisors.

Safety-first, reliable, communicates clearly, and takes ownership in a small business.

Pay & benefits

$45–$55 per hour + super, experience/competency dependent.

Overtime/penalties as applicable, stable full-time hours, supportive crew, well-kept tools and systems.

Training on our specific systems & methods; clear growth path (Leading Hand/Foreman).
