About the Role

As an Engineering Technologist, you’ll apply and adapt established practices to support the design, development and implementation of innovative lighting products and solutions. You’ll work closely with our designers and suppliers to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in the design and development of electrical and engineering projects, with a focus on lighting systems

Modifying and applying established engineering practices to develop and improve products and processes

Asist with tasks including design drafting, estimating and operations control

Testing and evaluating materials, techniques, operational conditions and systems for efficiency, safety and compliance

Providing technical advice and support on lighting products, systems and processes

Maintain detailed product documentation and reporting

Outlining work programs, reviewing for accuracy and feasibility and coordinating with project teams

Perform photometric testing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product quality

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, an analytical mindset and a drive to innovate within the lighting industry.

Qualifications & experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field

2+ years relevant industry experience in a technical, engineering or product development role (lighting or electronics experience highly regarded
