A rare opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager to join this leading entertainment and media group. This would be an initial 12 month contract to cover a maternity leave vacancy.

This role will provide high-level financial guidance and business partnering support across major upcoming sporting productions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial discipline, supporting leadership decisions, and enabling delivery of these productions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process for sport productions.
• Manage the month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare, monitor and track detailed production budgets for large-scale events.
• Deliver meaningful variance analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities and actions.
• Provide insightful reporting on costs, performance and key drivers.
• Partner closely with senior leaders, translating financial data into actionable insights.

Key Requirements

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong business partnering experience with non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive commercial outcomes.
• Solid technical grounding in budgeting, forecasting and accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
