This role reports and works closely with an experienced CFO.

This role would suit a high achieving Senior Analyst ready to step into their first management role, or an existing Finance Manager.

The role

• Business partnering - provide value add analysis and support in addressing profitability opportunities and challenges.
• Responsible for annual budget and rolling quarterly forecast
• Provide insights and develop tools to support business management to make informed assessments for strategic cost and pricing decisions.
• Pricing and margin reviews of various sales channels and promotional product campaigns
• Capital investment reviews for proposed new products and existing product upgrade investments to be submitted for Board approval
• Preparation of papers for board submissions
• Manage a small team

About you

• CPA/CA qualified (ideal, non essential)
• Experience in a fast paced environment is essential - retail, FMCG, ecommerce, marketing, media, etc.
• Strong experience with analysis and financial planing (budget/forecast). Strong financial modelling, use with BI tools, is a plus
• At least 2+ years of experience in commercial finance role/s
• People management experience desired but non essential
