Roles and Responsibilities

Strengthen team capabilities to effectively execute strategic initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with insurance industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Oversee operational planning, performance monitoring, and reporting to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction across all policyholder touchpoints.

Lead by example on the ground, regularly engaging with staff to foster a high-energy, customer-focused culture and reinforce best practices in insurance operations.

Manage workforce planning with precision, ensuring proactive recruitment, training, and scheduling to meet key insurance calendar milestones such as renewal cycles, regulatory reporting deadlines, and peak claim periods.

Develop a strong talent pipeline by mentoring team leaders, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback, and supporting their growth in managing underwriting, claims, and customer service teams.

About you

You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, or a related discipline.

You bring 5+ years of proven leadership and operational management experience in general insurance operations, ideally within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

You possess deep knowledge of insurance principles, underwriting, claims management, and regulatory compliance.

You have a strong track record in operational excellence, with demonstrated success in streamlining processes, improving service delivery, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

You’re a confident and inspiring leader, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the business.

You’re highly analytical, with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex insurance challenges.

You’re proficient in insurance systems and operational platforms, with a solid understanding of data-driven decision-making.

You thrive under pressure, can prioritise competing demands, and consistently meet critical deadlines.

You’re flexible and committed, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs, including work outside standard business hours.
