Due to an internal promotion this once in a lifetime opportunity now exists to join the Recreation and Leisure team as part of Team Stirling. You’ll lead a large, multidisciplinary team, shaping the future of recreation facility across 22 unique locations. You’ll drive service improvement, champion a safety culture, and deliver innovative services that make a real difference to the lives of our community.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team based on a service structure
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders as well as various community groups to maximise utilisation of multiple spaces
  • Oversee all operations across all 22 Stirling Leisure facilities
  • Leverage technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery
  • Manage operating and capital budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships
  • Deliver industry best practice in our facilities to ensure client and staff safety

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a strategic leader with a passion for recreation and community wellbeing. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven experience managing large teams and facilities
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Advanced IT and report writing skills
  • Tertiary qualification or substantial experience in Recreation or a related field
