Bennett Plumbing and Civil is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team in Adelaide. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in delivering critical infrastructure projects while working in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret complex engineering drawings

Provide support to Site Supervisors and the Project Manager with day-to-day operations

Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders on-site

Supervise maintenance and repair works as required

Use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office to prepare documentation and design updates

Assisting Project Manager to maintain and update the Safety in Design (SiD) register during the construction phase for SA Water projects

Assist with quality control, project reporting, and compliance requirements

Skills & Requirements

Solid understanding of civil/structural engineering principles

Minimum Diploma level qualification or equivalent in Civil Construction/Civil Engineering.

Strong ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Minimum of 1 year relevant industry experience

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (site not accessible via public transport)

Eagerness to learn and build expertise in subdivisional infrastructure projects
