Public Sector People are working with a local government organisation who are seeking a Compliance Officer on a unique 3-month contract + extension / Direct appointment.

Full Job Description

• Compliance Officer
• ASAP START | pay rates from $55p/h + 12 Super (PAYG)
• Local council
• Location - Toowoomba & surrounding areas
• Initial 3-month temp contract + extension
• Conversion to perm employment is very likely.
• Multiple roles

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Undertake investigations and collate evidence for the purpose of identifying legislative and local law offences and progressing any associated enforcement action.
• Knowledge of or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of what constitutes professional, safe, and situation-appropriate healthcare practices to determine the appropriateness of a health service provider’s course of action or performance standards. (Accountability)
• Prepare a range of documents, technical reports, and briefs of evidence to support the progression of Court and Tribunal related enforcement actions.

About you

• Available to start ASAP
• Vehicle and driver license
• A relevant tertiary qualification or Certificate IV in Government (Investigations) or background in compliance.
• Ability to prepare a range of documents, technical reports, and briefs of evidence to support the progression related enforcement actions.
