Are you a payroll professional who loves the detail but wants to skip the button-pushing? We’re looking for a sharp, proactive Payroll Officer to own the pre and post-payroll functions, ensuring smooth, compliant, and accurate payroll outcomes for our diverse workforce.

What you’ll be doing:

• Pre-payroll prep: Award & EBA interpretation, manual calculations (e.g. higher duties, fixed-term contracts)
• Adjustments: Ensure term-time employees receive consistent annualised payments (no more self-budgeting!)
• Data accuracy: Validate and prepare all payroll inputs for our outsourced provider
• Liaison: Be the key contact for our external payroll processor, providing timely, clear, and accurate data
• Post-payroll: Review reports, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end reconciliation
• HR administration support

What you’ll bring:

• Solid understanding of awards and EBAs
• Strong attention to detail and manual calculation skills
• Experience in a payroll support role, ideally working with outsourced payroll providers
• Confidence navigating complex employment scenarios with accuracy and care
• Current Blue Card
