What you will be doing:

We are looking for Payroll Officer to be based in Gladstone. This person will be responsible for:

Be the first point of contact for many employees who have general enquiries or disputes involving payment of entitlements

Delivering outputs required by the payroll section on time and to specification:

Compiling and processing documentation including calculation and input of data around daily timesheets, leave, terminations.

Processing pays in relation to Income Tax, Superannuation, Medical Refunds, Health and Wellbeing claims and miscellaneous deductions and contributions.

Understanding and utilising payroll software systems (Workforce Dimensions and Aurion)

Maintaining, reviewing and continuously improving the day-to-day administration payroll processes.

What you will need:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

Strong Payroll Experience & computer experience.

Ability to be versatile

Data entry experience

Good communication experience

Working hours are normally 36 hrs 9 Day fortnight, Additional overtime maybe required from time to time.
