About This Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the global workforce experience at The University of Queensland. As our Global Mobility Advisor, you will be the trusted first point of contact for employees embarking on international or domestic relocations, providing expert guidance and a seamless transition into their new roles.
In this dynamic position, you will work closely with internal and external partners, navigating complex mobility requirements across relocation, immigration, taxation, and payroll. Your strong coordination skills and stakeholder expertise will ensure employees, hiring managers, and HR colleagues receive timely, accurate advice while maintaining compliance with governance and policy frameworks.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate domestic and international relocations in line with policy, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
- Provide timely advice and guidance to employees, managers, and HR colleagues on mobility, immigration, and compliance matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers to deliver efficient and compliant mobility services.
- Prepare accurate reports and insights for senior leadership to support decision-making across global mobility programs.

About You
- Undergraduate qualification in HR, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in global mobility, HR, immigration, international payroll or tax within a large organisation or higher education setting.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employer-sponsored visa processes and familiarity with international remote work.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and external service providers.
- A customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering a positive employee experience.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia, criminal check and education check.
