About the Role

Enfab Pty Ltd, a family-owned and growing sheetmetal fabrication business in Toowoomba, is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our team of Tradesmen, Apprentices and Trade Assistants.

This is an exciting opportunity for either:

A skilled Sheet Metal Tradesman looking to step up into leadership, or

An experienced Production/Workshop Manager wanting to join a supportive and close-knit team.

You’ll oversee workflow, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure jobs are delivered on time. With direct communication to management and clients, strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a small team of tradesmen, apprentices, and assistants

Manage workflow, productivity, and job scheduling in a busy workshop

Maintain high-quality standards across stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel fabrication

Liaise with management and customers when required

Support training and development of apprentices

Ensure safe, efficient and professional work practices

Skills & Experience

Trade qualifications in Sheet Metal Fabrication (essential)

Proven experience in stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel fabrication

Previous leadership or supervisory experience highly regarded

General engineering and problem-solving ability

Strong communication and teamwork skills
