At Exhibitions & Events Australia (EEA), we're passionate about connecting people with experiences. We're the team behind major events like Home Show, MindBodySpirit Festival and CollectFest, and we're looking for a passionate Sales Manager to join our growing team in the MindBodySpirit festival.
We are very excited to continue our growth and expansion and, with this, comes your opportunity to join our vibrant, friendly and AMAZING sales team in the MindBodySpirit Festival.
We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated salesperson to join our team based in Hawthorn, Melbourne.
The role is primarily focused on the sale of exhibition space to businesses whose products and services are relevant to consumers at our MindBodySpirit Festivals in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
As a successful salesperson with B2B experience, you will bring with you a passion for new business development, a lot of energy, fresh ideas and an ability to think on your feet! You must be a team player who enjoys working in a close knit and high performing team.
To excel in this position, you must be skilled in new business development and proactively sourcing your own leads. Equally, you should demonstrate strong account management skills and be able to retain and grow our highly valued clients. Your customer service skills must also be second to none along with your attention to detail!
We are looking for:
Someone who can demonstrate a successful track record in a high energy and busy sales environment.
At least 2 years of customer service: You have a solid foundation in customer service and know how to provide excellent service to our exhibitors.
Interest in events: This is our bread and butter – you need to love the excitement and thrive under pressure.
A can-do attitude: You're adaptable & resourceful.
Communication skills: You communicate in a polite and professional manner.
Multi-tasking skills: You are able to manage multiple festivals at once, with varied deadlines and timelines, without losing your cool.
Love to chase New Business sales predominantly in a telephone sales environment with some face-to-face contact.
Excellent organisation and time management skills are critical to success! Working across multiple events at any one time, structure and process to your working style are essential to manage your day and workload.
A true team player who will live our company values and works collaboratively as part of a small and collegiate team.
This is a very fast paced positioned, attention to detail is crucial and we are looking for a special person with high energy and creativity and a passion for what they do!
