At Embracia, we are proud to deliver exceptional care and community connection through our soon-to-open Embracia Moonee Valley Early Learning Centre nestled in our Moonee Valley Aged Care Home premises.

The Role

All meals at Embracia Childcare and Kindergarten are prepared onsite in our beautiful and spacious kitchen. The role is for a part-time cook, to join us in our brand-new centre with immediate start. You will have the ability to plan and prepare healthy and nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of children, including children with intolerances and allergies.

About You

You are an experienced cook and a team player with:

· Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

· Food handling / Food safety supervisor certificates

· First Aid qualification HLTAID012

· Protecting Children – Mandatory Reporting training

· Current Employee Working with children check

· Current National police check

· Valid work rights in Australia

· Experience in childcare and early learning centre, preparing meals for children with diverse dietary needs including intolerances and allergies

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment collaboratively with all staff to create a nurturing environment for children
