This is a newly created, full-time position offering significant leadership scope, career stability, and the opportunity to shape procurement strategy across multiple commercial construction projects.

As the Purchasing Manager, you will lead group-level procurement, supplier engagement, and materials planning—ensuring efficiency, cost control, and supply chain reliability. This role plays a key part in driving commercial outcomes and supporting the delivery of mid to large-scale builds across WA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, supplier agreements, and preferred vendor frameworks
• Negotiate contracts and pricing across key trades and construction materials
• Oversee purchasing systems, inventory management, and delivery schedules to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and accounts to streamline workflows
• Maintain and strengthen supplier and subcontractor relationships

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction procurement or purchasing (WA market preferred)
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials and supplier markets
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational ability
• Full Australian working rights and Perth-based experience
