Die Setter
Roster: 3 Months Initial Casual Duration with potential to move to permanent direct with client, Monday to Friday, 7.24 am to 15.30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up and changeover moulds on blow moulding machines according to production requirements.
• Align and secure moulds, ensuring proper fit and operation.
• Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time) for optimal performance.
• Perform start-up and shutdown procedures for moulding machines.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure tooling is functioning correctly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with dies, moulds, and machines.
• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation of setups, changes, and maintenance activities.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Die Setter in a plastic blow moulding environment.
• Strong understanding of blow moulding machines and processes (e.g. extrusion blow moulding, injection blow moulding).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.
• Must be physically fit, pull/push/lift 20kgs
• Technical certification or trade qualification in a relevant field.
• Experience with specific blow moulding machines
• Basic knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
• Must be able to pass a police check.
