Step into a Civil Supervisor role with a contractor delivering major subdivision and earthworks projects across North West Melbourne. You’ll oversee day-to-day site operations, manage teams and subcontractors, and drive quality, safety, and performance outcomes — all while being backed by a strong project pipeline and supportive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe and compliant work site aligned with company safety protocols
• Promote a safety-first culture across teams and subcontractors
• Lead site-based teams (5–20 personnel) to meet program and quality requirements
• Monitor construction progress and subcontractor performance against schedule and cost forecasts
• Manage and report daily, weekly, and monthly production costs
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and authorities
• Coordinate procurement of plant, equipment, and materials
• Review and approve SWMS and Management Plans
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and regulatory requirements

About You:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor on subdivision and bulk earthworks projects
• Proven knowledge of road construction, pavements, structures, and civil infrastructure
• Strong resource and people management capabilities
• Experience working with councils and utility/service providers
• Effective communicator with the ability to lead and motivate site teams
• Hands-on experience delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings
• Confidence navigating compliance with DBYD, PMPs, SWMS, and MSDs
