Job Description

As an Air Conditioning Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in the company's operations by providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for a wide range of air conditioning systems.

This role will be based in Western Sydney - specifically the Blacktown / Pemelwuy / Wetherhill Park area.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of air conditioning systems, including split systems, ducted systems, and packaged units.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in air conditioning systems, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
• Conduct regular system performance checks, identify inefficiencies, and recommend appropriate solutions to improve energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, equipment repairs, and installations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Service Technician
• Solid knowledge of various air conditioning systems, including split systems, ducted systems, and packaged units.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration principles, heat load calculations, and system controls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Relevant trade qualifications and certifications (e.g., Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate, ARCtick license) will be highly regarded.
