About the role

Join Inspire Energy as a full-time Solar and Battery Sales Consultant based in Gregory Hills, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Inspire Energy's solar and battery storage solutions by engaging with potential customers and converting them into sales. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's sustainability initiatives and help homeowners and businesses transition to renewable energy.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and qualify potential customers for solar and battery storage systems

Conduct in-depth consultations to understand customers' energy needs and goals

Provide expert advice on the technical specifications and financial benefits of Inspire Energy's products

Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotes to customers

Negotiate and close sales, ensuring a seamless customer experience

Maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and meet or exceed individual and team sales targets

Collaborate with the installation and customer service teams to ensure a positive post-sale experience

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and competitors to enhance your sales effectiveness

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales or consultative role, preferably in the renewable energy, home improvement or construction industries

Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify and convert sales leads into customers

Strong technical aptitude and understanding of solar and battery storage technologies and their applications

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a simple and engaging manner

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and a driven, results-oriented approach

Customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience

Must be able to work with CRM sysytems and cloud based quoting tools
