What you'll do
- Ensure consistency in the designated eHealth Queensland IT service management processes relevant to their roles.
- Maintain a current knowledge of the ICT Service catalogue as delivered by the Digital Services Branch and the role of the Digital Partnership Team in delivering those services.
- Manage eHealth Queensland assets within the Digital Partnership Team by overseeing the asset creation, recovery and write off processes.
- Apply best practice policies, frameworks, processes and systems, utilising effective reporting, review and improvement mechanisms to meet or exceed defined enterprise service levels.
- Drive a culture of continual service improvement by ensuring work practices/processes are developed, reviewed and standardised across Digital Partnership Teams where appropriate.
- Develop and implement plans and strategies, policies and procedures for the provision of information and communication technology services to meet customer needs.
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders including HHS executives, clinicians and business managers to facilitate their ICT requests with relevant eHealth Queensland and other ICT service providers.
- Manage the annual Digital Partnership Team's budget by ensuring services are delivered within the overall budget, including operating expenses, revenue and capital outlays.
- Manage resourcing levels within approved establishment (MOHRI) limitations by deploying and coordinating them effectively to enable the achievement of defined enterprise service levels and ensuring additional capacity requirements are managed to meet planned short-term workloads associated with enterprise projects and work requests.
- Provide high level and accurate advice to the Senior Director regarding strategic resources capacity and capability requirements of the Digital Partnership Team.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Motivation to work consistently with Department of Health values.
- High level management and leadership skills in an information and communication technology (ICT) environment for a large, complex service delivery organisation.
- Ability to develop and implement plans, strategies, policies and procedures for the provision of ICT services that meet customer needs.
- High level experience in managing the delivery of ICT services and support.
- High level interpersonal, communication, negotiations and consultations skills.
- Financial management and stewardship of IT assets and resources used in the Provision of IT Services.
