About the role

Arcwood Building PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic team based from Penrith, NSW 2750. This full-time position is an integral part of our carpentry and building operations, contributing to the successful delivery of residential and commercial construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Read and interpret building plans to accurately complete tasks

Construct a variety of projects including extensions, renovations and decks

Use a variety of hand and power tools to carry out carpentry tasks with efficiency and precision

Ensure that work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to building codes and safety regulations

Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate timely and seamless project delivery

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Current white card (Construction induction training) certification

Formal qualification in carpentry , such as a Certificate III in Carpentry

Excellent knowledge of building materials, tools, methods and safety procedures

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors and colleagues

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
