About the role

Northside Fasteners is seeking a full-time Warehouse Assistant/Picker Packer to join our team in Lawnton, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing and dispatching orders to ensure our customers receive their goods on time. It also involves serving customers at the retail counter.

What you'll be doing

Accurately picking and packing orders from our warehouse inventory

Maintaining stock control and ensuring orders are dispatched in a timely manner

Assisting with receiving and storing incoming inventory

Keeping the warehouse organised and tidy

Operating materials handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts

Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe and compliant manner

What we're looking for

Previous experience in the Fastener Industry would be an asset

Minimum 2 years warehouse experience required

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one

Physical fitness to carry out warehouse duties

Ability to lift up to 25kg regularly and stand for extended periods

Must have the right to work in Australia

Intermediate computer skills for warehouse management systems, scanning equipment and POS proficiency
