About the role

Hire Republic is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Murarrie, Queensland. This is a full-time role responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our products and materials are stored, handled and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.

What you'll be doing

Receive, unload and process incoming stock and materials

Pick, pack and dispatch outgoing orders accurately and efficiently

Maintain inventory records and provide stock reports as required

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and scanners

Assist with warehouse housekeeping and general labouring duties

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment

Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines

Good numerical and IT skills with experience using inventory management systems

Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety
