Warehouse Store Person / Picker & Packer

We are seeking a Warehouse Store Person / Picker & Packer to join our busy Burleigh Heads warehouse. You will receive training in all areas of responsibility and always have support.

Key responsibilities include

• Pick, check, pack and dispatch customer orders - attention to detail, a very high level of accuracy, and the ability to work to set time targets are imperative
• Heavy lifting involved
• Cut lengths of tube and chain
• Receive inbound goods - checking product quality and quantity
• Manual unloading of shipping containers
• Assist supervisor in the management of bulk storage and bin storage locations
• Participate in stock take procedures
• Maintain a safe and tidy workplace at all times
• Carry out other general warehouse duties as instructed by supervisor
• Actively work to improve the warehouse environment

Applicants must possess

• Previous warehouse experience in a stores / picking and packing role
• Suitable level of physical fitness
• Excellent reading, written and oral communication skills
• Strong customer focus with demonstrated experience
• Capacity to handle fast paced and demanding environment
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• A positive and self-motivated attitude
• Must be a Queensland resident
