About the role

We are on the lookout for an experienced Chef to join our team, at Cafe Verde, a 5 min drive from Modbury.

As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Italian-inspired and brunch dishes for our customers. This role will be full-time, offering the opportunity to work in an energetic and supportive environment.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the cafe/restaurant environment

Strong knowledge in breakfast and lunch service

Proficient time management, multitasking and teamwork skills

Passion for creating high-quality, visually appealing dishes

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook brunch and dinner meals as well as Modern Australian and Italian cuisine dishes

Collaborate with the kitchen team to streamline food preparation and service

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
