About the role

Mandoon Estate, a leading winery and restaurant in Caversham WA, is seeking a talented Breakfast Chef to join our passionate culinary team. As a Breakfast Chef, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests, showcasing your expertise in crafting delicious morning fare. This full - time position offers you the opportunity to be part of an innovative, award-winning establishment within the vibrant Hospitality & Tourism industry.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a wide variety of breakfast dishes to the highest quality standards

Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop and refine the breakfast menu, incorporating seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients

Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene practices in the kitchen

Supervising and training junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth breakfast service

Working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests

Continuously seeking ways to improve kitchen operations and streamline processes

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within a high-quality restaurant or hospitality establishment

Strong technical skills and expertise in preparing a wide range of breakfast dishes, including hot and cold items

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy breakfast service

Proven track record of leading and mentoring a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating innovative breakfast offerings

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the front-of-house team

Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
