Experienced HR Truck driver required to join a bridge maintenance team based at Waratah.

This role will require you to work full time hours over a 4 day working week. NOTE: this role will involve travel and camp work requiring you to be away for a week at a time. All accommodation and transport will be provided, with allowances paid for meals and incidentals.

This position is available for an initial period of 3 months with genuine potential for further work beyond this date.

Duties will include driving of trucks to transport bulky goods, materials and work crews to and from site for general bridge maintenance works. You will also be required to undertake manual labouring duties to assist the team in completing required works, including but not restricted to painting, cleaning of bridges, concreting and other general bridge maintenance tasks.

Experience and relevant tickets for C6 or vehicle loading crane will be required for this role. Experience with the operation of a franna and small plant would be preferred.

Ideally, applicants should have previous experience in the transport and construction industry. Truck driving experience in the areas of haulage of fuel, bulk materials and trucks fitted with hydraulic tipping gear is required.

Applicants will need to hold:

WHS white card

HR driver licence or above

C6 or vehicle loading crane ticket and experience

Worker on Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of work (link to online course can be provided as part of your on-boarding process)

Previous experience within the construction or civil works sector would be advantageous
