Capable and experienced carpenter required for work with a bridge maintenance team working on the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.

This role will involve undertaking a variety of trade related work tasks for general maintenance of the bridge and related road & rail structures. Applicants will need to be trades qualified with recent hands-on experience.

You will carry out a variety of routine and repetitive physical tasks using hand and power tools. These tasks include, but not limited to, general carpentry work, formwork, painting and general maintenance of the bridge; working either as an individual or as part of a team.

This role will involve working full time hours of work. 6 months' work is being offered in the initial contract, with potential for further work beyond this time for good quality workers. A start of work ASAP is required.

Successful Applicants will need;

Carpentry licence/Trade certificate - Cert III in Carpentry or equivalent

At least 12 months experience in the carpentry field of work, or equivalent experience in bridge maintenance & construction

Current WHS White Card - essential

Unrestricted Australian driver licence essential

Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)

Good all round fitness for manual work tasks

Previous experience with bridge construction / maintenance will be highly regarded
