The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Buyers Agent Lead to head up our purchase team. This is a rare leadership role in real estate that offers financial stability, genuine work-life balance, and career growth — without the typical hustle of chasing leads or relying on commissions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the purchasing team (Buyers Agents, Purchase Coordinators, and Inspectors).

Source and secure quality residential and commercial properties nationwide — both on and off market.

Oversee due diligence: valuations, inspections, risk analysis, and renovation feasibility.

Research and identify new markets using internal and external data sources, assessing opportunities against our purchasing ethos

Negotiate directly with selling agents and represent clients at auction.

Maintain strong client relationships, providing data-backed insights and empathetic guidance throughout their journey.

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Projects, and Property Management to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.

Provide feedback to improve our proprietary tech platform, Milk Bar®.

Represent Milk Chocolate at industry events, webinars, and media opportunities.

About You

Class 1 Real Estate Licence (NSW)

10+ years’ experience as a Real Estate Sales Agent or Buyer’s Agent

Strong networks across the industry and deep knowledge of property fundamentals

Demonstrated success in sourcing, appraising, and negotiating properties

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Experience in renovations/construction highly regarded

Empathetic, resilient, and passionate about guiding clients through the emotional rollercoaster of buying property

Strategic thinker with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
