About the role

We're seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Mary's Paddock in Box Hill, Melbourne. As a full-time Chef, you will be an integral part of our dynamic kitchen, helping to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items

Ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to

Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies

Providing mentorship and guidance to junior kitchen staff

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef in a similar fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant food safety and hygiene qualifications
