About the role

Join the team at Arlo as an Apprentice Chef in Portarlington, VIC 3223. In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs. As an Apprentice Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Assisting senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of a variety of meals

Learning proper food handling, preparation, and presentation techniques

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Participating in ongoing training and development to expand your culinary knowledge and skills

Collaborating with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective service

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

A willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Basic cooking experience or relevant qualifications would be an advantage
